Zeytinburnu is Meeting Its Cultural Centres
Problem of cultural centre, which is the most important deficiency of Zeytinburnu finally comes to an end. Municipality of Zeytinburnu will take two separate cultural centers, which cost 14 million YTL totally and which have the capacity of 1244 seats, one of which is in the coast and the other of which is on İnönü Street into service in the month of August.
Municipality of Zeytinburnu is solving the problem of cultural centre, which is one of the greatest problems of the town. That the public surveys carried out indicated that the matter of cultural centre was the top of the list of problems has resulted in administration of municipality’s going for changes in the works of investment.
Mayor Murat Aydın, who has given a speech that one of the greatest problems of Zeytinburnu is about cultural centers states that construction of two cultural centers, one of which is located in the garden in which the building of Municipality takes place is continuing.
Kazlıçeşme Cultural Centre, which has an area of three thousand square meters for use has got 2 salons, one of which has the capacity of 320 seats and the other of which has the capacity of 184 seats. The total cost of the centre, which has got closed car park of 350 square meters is 4 millions YTL”.
In Zeytinburnu Cultural Centre, which is built on İnönü Street and will be activated very soon, there is one lecture room which has got the capacity of 650 seats and one seminar room which has got the capacity of 90 seats. The centre to be one of the important establishments of Zeytinburnu with its modern architecture will cost 10 millions YTL. City theatres of İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality will also raise a curtain in Zeytinburnu Cultural Centre.
Zeytinburnu, on the completion of these centers, will enjoy the opportunities to extend hospitality for several important meetings.
